1. What Information Do We Collect?

In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us.

Personal Information You Provide:

• Name, email address, phone number
• Education and work experience
• Skills and professional information
• Resumes, cover letters, and other documents you upload
• Job application data (job titles, companies, URLs, application status)
• Messages and interactions with our AI career coach

Information From Third Parties:

If you choose to register using social media (Google, LinkedIn), we receive your name, email, and profile picture from that provider.

We do NOT sell your personal information.

4. Browser Extension

Our Chrome Extension requires certain permissions to function:

• tabs & activeTab: To detect job application pages you visit
• scripting: To inject our autofill code into job application forms
• identity: To enable sign-in with Google or LinkedIn
• storage: To save your preferences locally in your browser
• webNavigation: To detect when you navigate to job application pages
• cookies: To maintain your authentication session

The Extension ONLY activates when you use it (by clicking the icon or pressing Alt+I). It does not monitor your general browsing activity.

What the Extension collects:

• Job page URLs, titles, company names, and job descriptions when you activate it
• Form field information (names and types) to enable autofill
• Your profile data from our servers to fill forms

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

In Short: We use cookies for authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

We use cookies to:

• Keep you signed in
• Remember your preferences

We do NOT use cookies for advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking.

6. Social Logins

You can sign in using Google or LinkedIn. When you do, we receive:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your profile picture (optional)

We do NOT access your passwords, friends lists, or other account data.

7. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

In Short: We keep your information as long as necessary to provide our Services or as required by law.

We retain your information while your account is active. When you delete your account:

• Your data is removed from active databases immediately
• Some data may remain in backups for a limited time for security and legal purposes

In Short: We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
